Hi, or should I say: bonjour! My name is Petrana and I am 28 years old. This blog is going to be, as I’ve named it, my love letter to France and I guess Paris mostly.

I come originally from Bratislava, Slovakia, where I was born and then raised the early years of my life. When I was 7, I moved to Paris with my family, the four of us – my mom, dad, younger brother and me.

Since that period I have lived on and off in France, Slovakia and Switzerland and am now residing in the Czech Republic where I work as a copywriter. Through my eyes, I see my “journey” as a not so usual one and I guess I feel I have accumulated some specific knowledge and experiences that now I feel like I am ready to share in the most humble, genuine and inspiring way. And more importantly, coming from the ♡.

Through this web, I would like to create a place where the curious ones about France and the french culture can get to know it al little bit differently than what is common and certainly not mainstream.

Throughout the letters I write, you will get the chance to get to know France through me and as I have lived it till now. Paris is my favourite place to come back to, even though it wasn’t always like that, believe it or not.
